Brussels, 23 May 2016 - Zetes announces that it is participating at the second edition of the ID4Africa forum, which takes place in Kigali from May 24th to May 26th at the Serena Hotel in Kigali, Rwanda.

ID4Africa was conceived as a movement to promote the responsible adoption of digital identity systems as drivers of socioeconomic development. It was designed as a forum to allow African nations to compare experiences, share knowledge and pool resources to build capacity related to developing identity systems. It is a movement of empowerment where Africa would take matters into its own hands and would dictate how it will respond to its identification needs.

As Premier Plus Sponsor, Zetes will participate in the presentations and workshops, focusing on the need for a unique civil register to sustain efficient identifications schemes. It will showcase its solutions and be available for demo’s and discussions at booth E01.

Ronny Depoortere, Senior VP of Zetes PASS explains: “Zetes has been involved in many digital identity projects in Africa over the two past decades. The market is changing fast and requires constant adaptation from both the industry and the states themselves. It is therefore crucial to establish an efficient dialogue between all the stakeholders so that we can all learn from each other. ID4Africa is the ideal platform for this and we are very happy to be actively involved.”
