A Digital Covid Certificate needs to display correct and up to date information about the citizens’ Covid health status:
- vaccination,
- PCR test, or
- proof of recovery from Covid-19.

The information contained in the QR code of the health certificate needs to be signed on behalf of the authorities using Trust Services. This way, the verifying party has the absolute certainty that the data displayed in a digital COVID certificate is authentic.
