As Belgium’s partner for the implementation of its eID programme since early 2003, Zetes is currently one of the most experienced companies for the production and personalisation of top quality and highly secured identity documents. Through this project, Belgium has been, and remains at the forefront of innovation.
To date, Zetes has produced over 24 000 000 national identity documents. It was the first company in the identification and authentication sector to obtain ISO 27001 certification, the most relevant international standard defining requirements for the implementation of an Information Security Management System (ISMS).
Zetes’ expertise spans the complete value chain, from registration of personal data to the personalisation and delivery of each document to individual citizens. In consortium with PitKit, Zetes also produces its own polycarbonate cards in a highly secured environment.
