Brussels, 18 April 2018 - Zetes will be present in its capacity as a Platinum sponsor at the fourth annual ID4Africa conference: the meeting of the movement of the same name that campaigns to achieve ID-for-all on the African continent. This will be held from 24 to 26 April 2018 in Abuja, Nigeria.
Zetes' main messages will focus on the population register. A population register is truly the cornerstone of any efficient identification programme, and its implementation can help to improve administrative management and achieve economies of scale, and enable citizens to assert their rights and gain access to the services they need.
On the occasion of ID4Africa, Zetes is publishing a White Paper, "At the centre of the population register: issues, analysis, and approach", which gives some guidance on how to initiate projects whose scale can sometimes be daunting for governments or can spur them to push back deadlines.
